Prime rents in the East London market have weakened in most locations, with the exception of the primary market of Stratford, where values have remained stable. The most significant downturn has been seen in Barking and Dagenham, where prime rents are down by -11.1% to £20.00 per sq ft.  Rents in Stratford remained at £40.00 per sq ft and there have been signs that activity in this location is gathering momentum. Owner occupier capital values have stabilised over the past six months following four years of downward adjustment.
