Our View
Activity began to slow in the second half of last year and has continued at a similar pace into this year, with take up totalling 723,000 sq ft in the first three quarters of the year. Take up for the year is expected to reach similar levels to 2022 at 1-1.2m sq ft.
A number of larger lettings have boosted transaction levels, with several Big Box deals at London Gateway maintaining activity. The largest deal remains the 165,000 sq ft leasing of the former Made.com unit by Transmec, whilst Cosco Shipping Crystal Logistics took the 119,350 sq ft LG119.
