Leading biopharma company takes space at The Grid in Enfield

On behalf of Royal London Asset Management (RLAM), acting as joint agents with Savills and BNP Paribas, Glenny LLP has let four units at a new industrial/warehouse development known as “The Grid” to Autolus Therapeutics Plc, a leader in T cell programming technologies. Comprising 54,100 sq ft of space, the buildings have been let on a 15-year lease and will be subject to an extensive fit out to become a cutting-edge centre for the treatment of cancer. Ivan Scott, Divisional Partner at Glenny’s North London & Herts office said: “It’s great to see that these flexible buildings can be put to use in such a way. The proposed use is a fantastic news story for Enfield as this occupier will bring a significant, long term investment to the area, creating many new highly skilled jobs and a world class treatment facility.” Will Hawking, Senior Asset Manager at Royal London Asset Management, added: “Very few lettings have as much potential for changing people’s lives for the better and we are delighted to have secured Autolus on the estate. It is testament to the team and the quality of the development that we are securing this type of occupier to our industrial schemes and with the ever tightening of supply in the Greater London market, we anticipate this trend is likely to continue.”
