Glenny LLP has been appointed by London based developer Newable Properties Ltd to advise on the letting of eight new speculative light industrial/warehouse units, ranging from 2,700 sq ft to 6,800 sq ft at Peak Works on Alfreds Way in Barking, Essex.
Situated on the southern side of the A13 at the Lodge Avenue Roundabout, the site benefits from east and west-bound access and is therefore highly popular amongst trade counter operators including Edmundson Electrical, Dulux and Leyland Trade, to name a few.
Glenny were appointed by the former owners and occupiers, Poulten & Graf Ltd, on the sale of the 1.55-acre site last year and have since been retained by the purchaser, Newable Properties, to lease the proposed new industrial units. A planning application is due to be submitted shortly for the new scheme.
Peter Higgins, Divisional Partner at Glenny LLP said: “This is a great opportunity to bring forward a new prime light industrial/warehouse development and we are pleased to have been retained to advise on the subsequent units, which have already received a significant amount of interest from potential occupiers.”
