Glenny has been appointed as joint leasing agent by La Salle Investment Management and Taurus Developments on a joint-development scheme on a five-acre site in Basildon, Essex.
Together, La Salle and Taurus acquired the greenfield site and will bring forward the development, which comprises of 97,000 sq. ft. of industrial/warehouse space in four detached units ranging from 13,750 sq. ft. to 36,000 sq. ft.
The new development, which has been branded ‘Genesis’, will be developed speculatively. Planning was granted in early 2017 with work due to commence in May 2017; completion is due in December 2017.
