Our View

Take up In the North London & Herts industrial market remained below trend for the second successive year in 2023, with total activity of just under 1m sq ft.  The year was characterised by a lack of larger lettings, particularly in the second half of the year.  The largest lettings were both at the new scheme Midas in Harlow with Clarins taking 89,000 sq ft and LT Foods leasing the 89,442 sq ft Unit 2 in H2.

Activity remained subdued in Q1 2024, with a total of 112,760 sq ft of take up. The most significant transactions were the 31,650 sq ft letting to Lime Technologies at White Hart Works, Tottenham, whilst Bidfresh took 24,300 sq ft at Enfield Distribution Park.
