The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust has selected Countryside Properties’ Skyline 120 Business Park at Great Notley, Braintree to house its new regional Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) facility. The Trust has forward purchased a new 2,114 sq m (22,760 sq ft) Ambulance Station, plus future expansion capability on 2.15 acres, for £3.55 million.
The scheme was granted full planning consent by Braintree District Council last month and work on the new Ambulance Station is due to commence in May with completion at the end of 2012.
This leaves only 3.8 acres at Skyline 120, in key sites close to the entrance to the scheme, which is strategically placed in the heart of the A120 corridor, at the junction of the A120 and A131, providing rapid access to Stansted Airport, the ports, the M11 and the national motorway network.
Glenny, Coke Gearing and Joscelyne Chase acted for Countryside Properties PLC and are joint agents on the scheme. The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust was represented by SC Moulder Ltd.
